Guarani: when HR and sales finally save time together
An IT services firm of 350+ people across 7 French offices, Guarani dropped its Word templates and manual copy-paste for Betterfolio. Kerene Rouyer, head of recruitment, and Antoine Spagnoli, business manager, walk through what changed for their HR and sales teams.

Hello Kerene and Antoine, tell us about yourselves and about Guarani
Kerene Rouyer — Head of Recruitment
I joined Guarani a little over two years ago as head of recruitment. I lead the recruitment team, run hiring while staying hands-on, and work on process structure, onboarding and HR tooling. Guarani is an IT services firm founded in 2010, with 7 offices in France: Paris, Nantes, Toulouse, Marseille, Nice, Lyon and Bordeaux. We are more than 350 people, across two main activities: technical staffing in IT and industrial engineering, and application projects we build for clients inside our Digital Factory.
Antoine Spagnoli — Business Manager
I have been a business manager at Guarani for almost five years. I was hired as an account executive, then became a manager a year ago. Today I run a sales unit covering Bordeaux and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, with around thirty consultants to look after.
Before Betterfolio, how did you handle competency dossiers?
Kerene Rouyer — Head of Recruitment
Before Betterfolio, it was fairly hand-made and barely centralised. Everyone kept their own documents. We could share some material through Boond, but not systematically, which slowed the handoffs between teams.
Antoine Spagnoli — Business Manager
We did everything manually. We started from a Word template, pulled in the candidate's CV, then did a lot of copy-pasting and manual editing. On some of the more complex profiles, two dossiers could take a full half-day.
Before Betterfolio, we did everything by hand. Today a quality dossier can be ready in 30 minutes.
What does the product bring you today?
Kerene Rouyer — Head of Recruitment
It lets HR and sales work together far better. Recruiters can step in earlier, prepare dossiers upstream and save time for everyone down the chain.
Antoine Spagnoli — Business Manager
The first gain is time. We upload a CV in seconds, put it in the Guarani format, then enrich it with the right keywords, technical environments and the most relevant assignments. Where two dossiers used to eat half a day, a quality dossier is now ready in about thirty minutes.
Beyond building dossiers, do you use other features?
Kerene Rouyer — Head of Recruitment
Yes, absolutely. We also use the matching between open needs and candidates, the scorecard, and the interview preparation. Matching helps us find profiles already in our pool when a new need lands. The scorecard gives structure to how we assess candidates. And interview preparation is very useful on technical profiles, because it helps us get candidates ready before a client meeting.
Antoine Spagnoli — Business Manager
These features take us beyond formatting a document. It is a tool that helps qualify, present and make use of profiles.

How did the rollout go with your teams?
Kerene Rouyer — Head of Recruitment
At the start it was not a project already on the internal roadmap. I had benchmarked several tools and Betterfolio was one of the ones we tested. The rollout was gradual: a test phase with a few people, then a wider deployment. Involving operational staff and sales managers from the beginning helped a lot. Then came internal communication, several demos, and quick answers from Betterfolio during the integration. People picked it up quickly.
Antoine Spagnoli — Business Manager
Being able to try the tool for real before the rollout reassured the teams and made adoption easier.
Betterfolio changed our working rhythm and saves time on both the HR and the sales side.
What are the main gains you have measured?
Kerene Rouyer — Head of Recruitment
There is a real gain in how smoothly HR and sales work together. The process is simpler and more structured, and the Boond connection removes a lot of manual shuffling between two tools.
Antoine Spagnoli — Business Manager
The main gain is time. We move much faster and the output still looks good. That changes the daily rhythm.
Would you recommend Betterfolio? Why?
Kerene Rouyer — Head of Recruitment
Yes, of course. Beyond the time saved on dossiers, Betterfolio helps us on assessment, matching and candidate preparation. That is what makes it genuinely useful day to day. Conversations are easy, the team responds quickly and takes our suggestions into account.
Antoine Spagnoli — Business Manager
Yes, clearly. The tool changed my working rhythm. I spend less time on very operational tasks and more on work that actually moves the needle.
Beyond competency dossiers, the tool also helps us assess, find and prepare candidates.
